Asay Cousins: Night 5...sometime in the middle of the night.

Tuesday night, some of us adults were up way too late playing games and eating junk food. We had the crazy idea to pull pranks on the older kids. Regan and Ashlynn were sleeping in one of the bedrooms and so we toilet papered the outside of the door.
All the boys were sleeping in the family room on couches or air mattresses. By the way, this was the night that ALL of the grandkids spent the night. Up until this night, there was a different combination staying over every night. The Danz boys each took turns staying and Regan and Brett were visiting other family in town. But this night there were 10 grandchildren and 5 adults sleeping under one roof. We toilet papered the ceiling above where Kendall and Brett were sleeping and around the doorway as well. We also painted the big toe on Kendall, Brett, and Ty. None of them were very happy about it in the morning and Brett was ready for revenge. Poor Ty, who's only 7, was so upset his toes were painted, he cried. We had to immediately take it off with nail polish remover.
Apparently Brett woke up in the middle of the night and started tearing down the toilet paper. Nicole was in the family room also, and I wish you could hear and see her telling the story, because it is hilarious. Brett obviously thought the older girls had done the job (why would his two mature aunts do it? ;-)) and so he went upstairs to find some paper and a pen to write a note to these innocent girls. I guess he put all the tp in their room and taped some of it to their hands.

Operation flour power is an inside joke with the Hall kids and somehow Brett found out about it. The girls thought Kendall was in on it too but Brett couldn't get him to wake up in the middle of the night.

I know it probably wasn't the best thing to do, but it was fun reliving my youth. Many time I tp'd other people's homes for fun. One time, I even tp'd my own house during a Youth Conference when I was staying at the Bland's and some cute boys were staying at mine. :-)

It's nice to see there are other people that still have fun even if they are supposedly grown ups.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
