I know I skipped day 3, but no pictures were taken that day. We went to church and hung around the house. My family went and visited with the Barker's and their new baby. We did a few more fireworks there and watched some from around the neighborhood.
Monday we headed to Fair Oaks Farm about 2 hours north of Indy. It was a bit of drive but worth it. There was so much to do and the kids didn't want to leave.
We rode a bus to take a tour of the actual farm. Here are the girls in the back of the bus.
I couldn't get Brooke away from this climbing wall (in the shape of a milk jug) Sorry that it's sideways, I can't change it at the moment. It took her 3 or 4 tries to finally make it to the top, but once she made it, she was a climbing machine! The little ones enjoyed driving these tractors.
There was a maze with this cheese at the end. It was hard! I think most of us cheated!
They had a fun trampoline to jump on.
Charlotte would've been happy to ride in this train the whole time. She's on the right side of this first car.
The highlight for some, maybe not others, was to see baby cows being born. I'll spare you the pics of the other baby cow actually being born, but this baby was born before we got there. The mother was cleaning it up and it was trying to stand.
Brooke, Addie, and Ashlynn waiting for the cow to be born.
Still waiting...Charlotte looks scared, worried, tired...not sure. She was definitely intrigued.
All the kids that were there that day.
Ashlynn posing with her cute ensemble. Isn't she adorable?
Brooke wanted to try the hat on too.
A game of duck, duck, goose was played on the trampoline when we got back to grandma's house. Good thing they bought that! It entertained many kids! Next up: POOL!! ;-)
