Well, our 4th of July was rained out. It rained from morning until night. But good thing for us, we had already planned a cookout and fireworks on the 3rd with some friends in Bloomington so all wasn't ruined. Charlotte did not like the fireworks at first. They were just too loud and didn't want to be anywhere near them. When it finally got dark and they were setting off the good stuff, she started liking it better. I think there was over $500 worth of fireworks and we were out until 11:30 watching them and we didn't even set them all off! Crazy! At least my kids slept in the next day. Saturday we just spent indoors visiting in Bloomington with Nathan's family.Joel decided he liked Brooke very much. Here they are looking for the parachute.
They found it!
Look at all those fireworks!
Sparkler time!
First they wanted to lay down to watch the show;
Then they decided to sit.
Nothing better on a long drive home than two sleeping kids.
Charlotte was so tired she slept until I woke her up this morning. Over 12 hours!
By the way, we all had flag shirts from Old Navy, but I never did get a picture of all of us together. I'll have to coordinate us wearing them again another day so we can have a cute family picture!
