March Madness

I'm not sure if March weather is really supposed to be this nice, but I'll take it! Highs in the 70's the last few days and the next week. This is the weather I want all year long! We've been taking advantage of the weather as much as we can. Trips to the park, popsicles, bike riding, chalk drawing, playing with new neighbors. You name it, we're doing it. Oh yea, we got new neighbors, 2 girls ages 5 and 6. One of their names is Charlotte too! They call her Charly. So cute!!











Oh yea, and we're ready for March Madness too!

Frisbee Golf

We had a great time playing frisbee golf for Family Night last night. It was such great weather, except for a little wind. Nathan took Charlotte to play once, so she was a pro! We finished out the night by playing on the playground for a bit. We just love this weather!

Firestation Fieldtrip

Today I went with Charlotte's kindergarten class on a walking field trip to the fire station right down the street. I'm glad I get the chance to do fun things like this with her. She has an awesome teacher and they all had a great time! And the rain held off, which made our short walk even better!

Sick Day

We're taking a sick day today. Charlotte woke up with a sore throat, so we went to the doctor to check it out. Strep throat, it is. She's been pretty happy for a sick girl. I guess the waiting at the doctor, and grocery shopping did her in though. She had a few bites of lunch, and then laid down to watch cartoons.

Brooke had strep in December and then passed it on to Charlotte. The doctor said if she starts showing signs to call and they'll call in a prescription for her. Gotta love those kind of doctors!
